Tony Meale

Tony Meale is a Chicago-based author, journalist, and content creator who uses words to inform, educate, entertain, and inspire. A Cincinnati native, he has a bachelor’s degree in English from Saint Louis University and a master’s degree in journalism from Ohio University. He began his career as a high school sports reporter before writing and publishing a book in 2012 on the greatest sports story never told. He’s been creating written and spoken content ever since.

A few career highlights:


• Authored and published a book that received national publicity and was picked up by numerous bookstores, including Barnes & Noble


• Provided extensive sports content for the CBS Sports family, including online feature stories for The Doug Gottlieb Show and CBS Sports Radio, as well as nationally syndicated columns and NFL and NBA Power Rankings


• Served as copywriter and project manager for full-page magazine advertisements that have appeared in Time, Sports Illustrated, and BusinessWeek, among others


• Wrote and edited almost a dozen university magazines


• Supplied ghostwritten content for business and community leaders (anything from 500-word op-eds to 45-minute speeches)


• Provided one-on-one consultation for students, entrepreneurs, and aspiring authors about their work, goals, and professional vision


• Performed dozens of guest-speaking engagements and have more than 50 radio/television appearances to date
