My Story
I'm a Chicago-based author, ghostwriter, and strategic adviser who has worked with Fortune 500 CEOs, professional athletes, and entrepreneurs for more than a decade.
A former sportswriter, I resigned from my newspaper job during the financial crisis to author and publish “The Chosen Ones: The Team That Beat LeBron,” a sports nonfiction book about the only Ohio high school team to beat LeBron James. The book received national publicity and was sold at numerous bookstores, including Barnes & Noble. In 2022, I narrated a short film about the book for ESPN on Selection Sunday.
In choosing to self-publish, I evolved from writer to entrepreneur, turning a Word doc into a product that could be bought, sold, shipped, and leveraged all over the world. Now I help others do the same.
In 2014, I began advising and ghostwriting for executives and entrepreneurs seeking to build their brand and expand their business. I've worked with founders, CEOs, Olympic gold medalists, and leaders in higher education, law, data analytics, and mental health, among other diverse industries, and led executive communications for Discover Financial Services.
